Michele, founder of Bouclème, tells us how it all began...
"It wasn't until I was in my thirties that I began to appreciate the beauty of my own curls. Throughout my teens and twenties, I struggled with my hair, trying to make it something it wasn't: straight. And in the process, I ruined it. As I watched my two beautiful daughters grow up, I realized how wrong that was. I wanted them to love their curls, so I had to be their role model. I founded Bouclème to create the product line I couldn't find: quality products that are rooted in nature and take curls seriously. I wanted to redefine what it means to be curly and help everyone find the confidence to be who they are.
