The person behind the company is Hanan el Fizazi, owner and founder, who was born and raised in the Netherlands and has Moroccan roots. Pretty Curly Girl Products was launched in November 2019. The products are made in the Netherlands from high-quality ingredients, are CGM-approved, vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free. After its launch, it quickly gained attention and was talked about by many curly girls, becoming one of the curly community's favorite brands in a short period of time. In just over a year, it has become the fastest-growing curly brand, available in more than 25 countries.
